AlpFinanz – Version history

Version 1.3 September 2026

Own addresses per language: Italian at alpfinanz.it/it/…, English at alpfinanz.it/en/… – the pages are delivered directly in that language. Old links keep working.
Clearer version history: older versions are collapsed and open with “Show details”.
Consistent amounts: on the Italian pages, amounts from 1,000 always show the thousands separator (e.g. 1.234,50 €).
APR (TAEG) correction: with 0% interest and very small fees, the mortgage calculator showed 0.01% instead of 0.00%.

Mortgage calculator reordered: inputs, result, extra payments, savings, interest rate risk, scenario comparison – the amortization schedule now comes last.
Print schedule / PDF directly in the result, without opening the schedule.
File names with the date for PDF and CSV, e.g. “AlpFinanz_Amortization-schedule_2026-09-25”.
Amortization schedule: total rows written out (“Total year 1”, “Grand total”); clickable links in the PDF to alpfinanz.it and for a new calculation.
Clearer: “Enter extra payments” as an expandable bar like the other sections; savings appear only once extra payments are entered; “Remaining balance after … years” only in Advanced mode.
“How the calculator works”: new explanations of inputs, calculation types, extra payments, schedule and APR; detailed FAQ on the Legge Bersani (Art. 120-ter TUB).
The note “Your inputs stay on your device” is now on the home page.

Clearer mortgage calculator: savings from extra payments, interest rate risk check, amortization schedule and scenario comparison each have their own section.
Scenario comparison now also in simple mode.
Amounts with cents: the monthly payment and other monthly amounts are shown to the cent (e.g. €421.60).
Interest rate risk check now includes monthly fees in the payment, like the main result.
Print / PDF: complete amortization schedule with every month, yearly totals and the balance at the start and end of each month; with a link to the calculation.
Fix: extra payments are always calculated with up-to-date maximum amounts, even when the input section is collapsed.

First stable version of AlpFinanz:

Mortgage calculator: calculate the payment or the term, interest-only period, extra payments (shorter term or lower payment), fees and simplified APR (TAEG), interest rate risk check, scenario comparison, amortization schedule with CSV export.
VAT calculator for Italy, Germany and Austria: add or remove VAT (scorporo).
In English, German and Italian.
All calculations run in your browser; Google Analytics only with your consent.
